Finally replaced my 10-year-old camp stove with a new one after the burner started sounding like a jet engine last trip.
I was stuck between a classic two-burner Coleman for $80 and a smaller, single-burner backpacking model for more money, and going with the Coleman for car camping was the right call because it boils a pot of water for coffee in under 3 minutes flat.

Nice, that jet engine sound is a solid warning sign lol. The extra burner is clutch for making coffee and breakfast at the same time.

Yeah, that jet engine roar is my morning alarm. @mary_foster92, you're right about the extra burner being a lifesaver. I can burn my toast on one while the coffee pot sputters on the other. My kitchen looks like a war zone by 7 AM, but at least everything is sort of ready at the same time. The sound just lets my neighbors know the daily disaster is starting right on schedule.

Gotta ask if we're really making this much noise before coffee. It's a camp stove, not a rocket launch. The old one got loud, so you got a new quiet one, problem solved. Not sure why we're acting like this is some big dramatic event.
