My camp stove flame finally stopped dancing after I cleaned the jets

I fought with my Coleman dual burner for about 4 months. Every trip the flame would flicker orange and leave soot on my pot. Tried different fuel canisters and even swapped regulators. Last weekend I pulled the jet needles out and soaked them in vinegar for 30 minutes. Now the flame is a steady blue and my water boils in 6 minutes flat. Has anyone else had luck with a similar cleaning trick or do you just replace the whole stove?

Vinegar soak and a toothbrush did the same for my old single burner last year. Did you notice any crud stuck in the tiny holes after drying? I ended up poking a sewing needle through each one and that made the blue even steadier. Six minute boil sounds about right for a clean jet.
