That 3-day drizzle proved my $8 tarp was the real MVP
We camped near Freeport last month and it rained steady for 72 hours. My buddy's fancy tent leaked at the seams, but I rigged a cheap blue tarp over the cooking area and it kept everything dry. That tarp cost less than a fast food meal and saved the whole trip. Anyone else swear by budget gear over the expensive stuff in bad weather?
