That $80 air mattress pump was a total waste, here's why

I bought this fancy electric pump last spring for a trip to Shenandoah. It packed down small and looked great online, but it died on the second night while inflating. I ended up using a hand pump my buddy brought, which took 15 minutes but actually worked. I lost $80 and learned to just check the motor reviews before buying anything battery-powered. Has anyone else had a so-called premium pump give out this fast?

Did the pump at least include a free workout plan for those 15 minutes with the hand pump? Sounds like you paid eighty bucks for a lesson in trusting your buddy over marketing. Honestly, that's the priciest nap I've heard of since my $400 espresso machine quit after week two.
