I had to use paracord to fix it on the spot, which held up for the whole week. Always bring a repair kit, folks, you never know what will chew your stuff.

lol sounds about right, those little guys have a vendetta against anything vaguely synthetic. I swear they've got a taste test going for different brands of garden hose, my trash cans look like they've been through a wood chipper. At this point I'm just impressed with their dedication, like I'm running some kind of chew toy review service for the local wildlife.
