The $15 camp stove I bought 3 years ago cooks better now than when it was new

I used cheap propane in a pinch last spring and it left nasty yellow flames and soot on my pots, but after switching back to the good stuff (Coleman, I know, basic) the burner runs cleaner and hotter than ever. Has anyone else noticed a before-and-after difference just by changing fuel brands?

You said it "cooks better now than when it was new," but that's not really accurate. The stove itself didn't improve, you just fixed a problem caused by bad fuel by switching to a better brand. It's more like you found the right fuel for your stove instead of the stove somehow getting better on its own.

Ngl you're right, it's just unclogging from that cheap crap.
