The $85 LED lantern that lasted one wet night in Olympic NP
I bought this fancy rechargeable lantern last spring before a trip to Olympic National Park in Washington. First night we got a light drizzle, and by morning the button was glitching and the light flickered like crazy. Turns out the USB port cover didn't seal when the prongs were out, so water crept right in. I lost $85 on it and had to rely on my phone flashlight for the rest of the trip. Has anyone else had luck with truly waterproof lanterns under $50, or is that just a pipe dream?
