Just realized paying the $50 deposit on my own transport broker saved me $180 on the back end
I booked a driver for my Civic from Phoenix to Denver two months ago and the broker wanted the fee up front, but I held firm and paid it only after the car showed up on time with no new scratches, so I'm curious if anyone else has tried holding the fee until delivery.

Worth asking whether that broker even had a backup driver lined up if yours bailed, since holding the fee means nothing if your car sits.
