I parked my 1987 BMW 325is in a 10x20 unit off Highway 99 in Fresno back when the rate was $85 a month, and last Tuesday the manager called to ask if I was still alive because I am now paying $210 for the same space. That call was the first time I actually did the math: 47 months times what I have paid adds up to more than I gave for the car. At what point do you all admit a project car has turned into a storage bill with wheels, and do you sell it or move it somewhere cheaper?
