Kept my Mustang in a storage unit off I-35 in Austin for 8 months last year. Thought I was doing everything right, trickle charger, full tank, fresh oil. Then I pulled the cover off and the seats were covered in green fuzz and the dash had that sticky mildew feel. Took me a second to realize the unit had no climate control and the Texas summer made it a swamp. Anyone else learn this the hard way or do you all run dehumidifiers in your units?
That dehumidifier is the move, but you gotta size it right for the space and empty it regularly or you're basically breeding mold in a bucket. A cheap hygrometer helps too, so you can see how bad it actually gets before it ruins your interior.
