A recruiter in Boston let slip that 75% of resumes never reach a human because of one dumb formatting thing
She said an applicant tracking system dumps any resume with tables or columns into the reject pile before a person ever sees it, so I rebuilt mine as plain single column text and got two interviews in a week, has anyone else noticed this actually works?
