A recruiter reached out about a job that sounded too good, and it turned out to be real
Two months ago a recruiter messaged me about a fire inspector job in Aurora, Colorado, paying $15k more than what I make now. I almost deleted it because I figured it was a scam or a waste of time. My wife talked me into doing one quick phone call, and the guy knew details about my certifications that he could not have guessed. Three weeks later I was sitting in an actual interview, and they offered me the spot with a written letter and a start date. I ended up turning it down because the shift schedule did not work with my kids, but I was wrong about the whole thing being fake. Has anyone else gotten a random recruiter message that turned out to be the real deal?
