Heard a 24 year old in line at Target say you should switch jobs every 2 years, and it's been bugging me
I was behind this guy at the Target on Saturday and he was telling his friend that staying at one company for 10 years means you left money on the table. I started at my warehouse job in 2008 and I'm still there, mostly because I know the schedule and the people. But then I did the math and figured I probably gave up around $15k a year by not jumping around, which stings a little. Anyone here actually job hop and feel good about it, or did it blow up in your face?
