My nail gun jammed halfway through a 12 foot fascia board and I learned why the old guys tap the nose first
Was up on a ladder in Tacoma last Friday, gun jammed on the third nail, and the board split right at the seam, so I had to pull the whole run and start over. My lead said tap the nose before every shot to seat the next nail, tried it on the redo and didn't jam once in 40 shots. Any of you run into that or is that just something you either know or don't?
Does your gun have a bump safety that needs a good push to reset? Mine did the same thing till I started tapping the nose, now it feeds clean every time.
