That one Friday where everything went right and I nearly walked off the job confused
Had a day last spring where I was trimming out a house in the suburbs. Every miter cut fit perfect on the first try, no gaps, no caulk needed. Even the crown molding coped clean and sat flush like it was made for the wall. I stood there for a solid minute just staring at a corner joint. My helper thought I was having a stroke. Has anyone else had one of those freak days where the universe just decides to let you win for once? Felt like I was being pranked.

Man I'd have been waiting for the hidden camera crew to jump out too.

Honestly, did you actually think something SURREAL was happening, or were you just hoping for a prank show? Because I feel like real life is weird enough now that I wouldn't even question a random guy falling out of a tree in a suit. What makes you think a hidden camera is more likely than just another ordinary Tuesday in 2024? I'd probably just assume it's a new kind of viral marketing or some dude's failed TikTok stunt.

You mentioned "a random guy falling out of a tree in a suit" - that actually happened to me once, believe it or not. I was walking my dog in the park and this fella came crashing down from a big oak, suit and all, just brushed himself off and walked away like it was nothing. Turned out he was a bird watcher who'd climbed up to get a better look at a rare woodpecker and lost his footing. No cameras, no prank, just a guy with a weird hobby and bad balance. So yeah, I'd say real life beats surreal these days.
