I finally realized why some guys swear by glue-down methods over tack strip

Overheard a guy at the supply house say glue-down is 'for hacks' and I've been thinking about how much wasted time I've seen on tack strip jobs where the edges curl up after a year.

Man, I tried glue-down once and ended up gluing my knee to the floor for a solid 45 minutes. Still not sure if that was faster than tack strip or just a new kind of dumb. But hey, at least my edges haven't curled up yet.

Honestly I used to think glue-down was just asking for trouble, but this kinda makes me wanna try it. Sounds way less annoying than fighting with tack strips lol.
