Ugh, that sounds miserable. I had a guy once who narrated my entire carpet cleaning like it was a golf tournament, totally proving @susanm56's point. Some people just cannot handle watching a professional work in silence.

Ever think you could just watch a few videos and do it yourself? I tried laying laminate in my spare room and it was a total mess, edges didn't line up at all. Now I get why the pros charge what they do.
