My buddy swore by his manual stretcher for years, finally tried it

I've been using a power stretcher for as long as I can remember, probably 12 years now. Always figured the old manual knee kicker was just a beginner tool, something you upgrade from. My buddy Dan, who's been in the business for 25 years, kept telling me I was missing out on better control for tight spots. Last month I had this tricky room in an old house in Portland with weird angles and a lot of doorways. I borrowed his manual stretcher just to shut him up, honestly. But man, in that tight hallway corner, I could feel every inch of the stretch better than my power one ever gave me. It took me a bit longer but the finish was way cleaner with no ripples near the walls. Has anyone else switched back to manual for certain jobs or am I just late to the party?

Yeah @the_paul, it's a bigger deal than people give it credit for.

Always thought the same thing till I tried one in a tight corner... it just works better.
