Showerthought: a guy in Fresno held up my stair nose and asked if I'd trust my mom on it
He didn't mean it as a dig either, just pointed at the tack strip gap under the nose and asked if I'd let my own mom walk that in socks. I re-did the whole flight of 13 steps after he left and found two more spots where the pad was short. Anyone else had a homeowner catch something on a final walk that you flat out missed?
