Swapped my knee kicker for a power stretcher six months back and it saved my back on a big commercial job.

I used to rely on my knee kicker for every room, even the wide ones. Took about three hours to get a 20x15 foot office hallway flat. Then a buddy talked me into renting a power stretcher for a 40 foot long corridor. Cut the time in half and my knee didn't ache for days after. Has anyone else switched and noticed a big difference on wide open spaces?

Hold up, I gotta disagree a bit here. Tbh, a power stretcher is overkill for most small rooms and hallways. I've been using a knee kicker for 15 years and my back is fine because I know how to use my legs and hips right instead of just my knees. Ngl, on a 40 foot hallway sure, that makes sense, but for a 20x15 foot office I can still get it done in under two hours without needing to lug around some big machine. Just saying, there's a middle ground where both tools have their place.

My dad always told me the right tool for the job saves more than time, it saves your body for the next job. Seems like that applies to a lot of things, not just flooring...

Isn't that the truth though, good tools make everything easier.
