That time I cut the pad short on a big job in Phoenix
It was a 2,000 square foot office space and I was rushing to beat the heat. I had to seam two leftover pieces together under a heavy desk, which took an extra hour. Anyone else ever have to fix a pad mistake on site?

Yeah, that exact thing happened to me on a big condo job. I started carrying a few extra yards of pad in the truck after that, just in case. It's saved my skin more than once when a measurement was off. Seaming it under furniture is the way to go, even if it's a pain, because nobody will ever see it.

Cutting the pad short sounds annoying but is it really a big deal? An extra hour under a desk in Phoenix heat is rough, but it's just part of the job sometimes. We've all had to fix our own mess-ups on the fly. At least it was hidden under furniture, right?

Honestly, an extra hour under a desk in Phoenix heat is just part of the job? That sounds like a health risk, not a normal workday. Tbh, messing up the pad is one thing, but acting like baking in that heat is no big deal is wild. People can get seriously sick from that. It's not just a simple fix, it's a dangerous situation.
