A stranger's stray comment about my grocery cart fixed my whole afternoon

In the checkout line at a Safeway in Portland last Tuesday, this older guy just pointed at my cart and said, “you only buy things you can cook in one pan, don't you?” He was dead right, and it made me realize I've been overcomplicating every meal for years. Anyone else had a random observation from a stranger that actually simplified something for you?
