Remember that time everyone thought the ice cream truck song was just a broken tape? Turns out the driver was playing it slow on purpose so kids with less money could catch up. Makes you wonder how many small kindnesses we miss because we're not looking for them.

That story about the ice cream truck is sweet but I'm pretty sure it's an urban legend. The slow music is usually just a worn out tape or a bad speaker. I do agree we miss a lot of quiet good deeds though.

I saw a lady drop her wallet in a grocery store parking lot last week and a teenager ran half a block to give it back. We're so quick to assume the worst about strangers now. But most people are just decent and trying to get by. It's like we've forgotten how to trust each other in small ways. That guy at your bus stop proves the good moments still happen every single day.
