Random walk during lunch break led to a book swap table
I was wandering near the public library downtown on Tuesday and spotted a folding table out front with used books. A note said take one or leave one, so I grabbed a beat-up mystery novel. Turned out the person who donated it had scribbled notes in the margins, almost like a conversation. I went back the next day to leave my own book and ended up chatting with a retired teacher who runs the table. Has anyone else had luck with those free book exchange spots in their town?
