Serious question, did a wrong number in Grand Rapids actually teach me how to listen?
I spent 3 months brushing off a guy who kept calling my house looking for "Dave," until one night I actually asked who Dave was and he turned out to be a widower who just needed someone to talk to. Now I chat with him every Sunday, but it bugs me that I almost missed the whole thing because I was too annoyed to slow down, so how do you tell a real connection from a nuisance call?

Honestly the nuisance calls are usually just noise, but sometimes you get lucky like that.
