That lady at the bus stop fixed my resume in 10 minutes

I was waiting for the 42 bus on Grand Avenue last Tuesday complaining to myself about getting zero callbacks for months. This older woman just leaned over and pointed out my font was too fancy and my bullet points were garbage. She rewrote two lines on a napkin and I got three interviews within two weeks - has anyone else had a random stranger give them better advice than a career center?

Wait, what font was it? I need to know exactly which one she said was bad so I can check my own resume.

A napkin? That's wild. Some random lady actually wrote on a napkin and it worked. I mean, font is a thing I never even thought about. Career centers always talk about keywords and formatting but never the small stuff like that. Sounds like she knew exactly what hiring managers hate. Good for you, that's honestly incredible timing.
