A forum member told me my chatter lounge posts were too vague and scattered, which made me switch to focusing on one clear topic per thread.
They specifically said 'your post about the new moderation tools was buried under three other thoughts, so I just scrolled past,' so now I write one idea, explain it fully, and ask a direct question like what's the single biggest challenge your lounge is facing right now?

Honestly, that sounds like overkill. People scroll past stuff all the time, it's not a big deal. I doubt anyone's keeping score on how many thoughts are in a post.

Remember that article about how our brains filter online info now? It said we're all basically scanning for one clear signal in a ton of noise. When a post has three ideas, it's like three radio stations playing at once, so people just tune out. Your old post about mod tools got lost because the brain saw "new feature," "server issue," and "weekend plans" as separate stations. Sticking to one topic turns the volume up on just that one signal. Makes sense why that works better, right?
