Can we talk about how people are ruining their records with bad cleaning?

I keep seeing folks at the shop using dish soap and tap water on their vinyl. That stuff leaves residue and minerals that actually wear down the grooves over time. I ruined a mint copy of Rumours from 1977 doing this last year. Has anyone else seen this happen with their collection?

Dish soap and tap water work fine if you dry them right.
