Dropped $45 on a "mystery box" of desktop stuff at a flea market in Tulsa and it was all broken junk
Saw a guy at the Tulsa flea market selling sealed boxes of "office and desk goodies" for $45 a pop, and I figured worst case I'd get a decent mouse pad or some cables. Got home and opened it up: a cracked stapler, three dead AA batteries, a mug with someone's name on it, and a tangled ball of dried out rubber bands. Has anyone else gotten burned on a mystery box, or am I the only one who keeps falling for these?

My buddy dropped 60 bucks on one of those and got a broken label maker.
