Had one perfect Tuesday last fall where every pour at my bar was ice cold and the whole crowd tipped in cash
I walked out with $340 that night and not a single person complained about the music being too loud or asked for a complicated cocktail, has anyone else ever had a shift that just clicked like that where everything lined up?

And that cash part is the real difference maker right there. When you don't have to wait on credit card tips to hit your account you can actually feel good walking out the door. That kind of night just reminds you why you put up with all the bad ones.

@richard_anderson nailed it with the cash part. Had a slow night at my buddy's place last winter, nothing special, but every single drink was poured perfect and the regulars just kept dropping cash. Walked out with $280 and a headache from laughing so much. That's the kinda shift that keeps you coming back.
