Hit 1000 followers on my blog last night and honestly it felt weird
I started this little woodworking blog back in March just to show off some shelves I built, never expected anyone to actually read it. Last night the counter ticked over to 1000 and I sat there staring at the screen for a good five minutes. Has anyone else hit a number like that and felt more confused than excited?

Wait, you're confused about hitting 1000? I get feeling surprised but confused is a new one for me. I see it the complete opposite way. That's 1000 people who clicked that button on purpose because they wanted to see more of your shelves. That's a solid win in my book. You should be pumped about it, not sitting there wondering what happened. Take the win and keep building, man.

@rodriguez.felix is right, you're overthinking a good thing. 1000 followers is like getting a free pizza you didn't order - you don't ask why, you just eat it. Sure, maybe some clicked by accident, but who cares? Most of them liked what they saw enough to stick around. You're sitting there scratching your head while the rest of us are wondering why you're not doing a little dance. Just keep posting your shelves and let the number do its thing, yeah?
