I finally checked out the Chatter Lounge app after 6 months of hearing about it, and now I need to know if I'm using it right
So about 6 months ago my coworker Dana kept going on about this Chatter Lounge thing at lunch, how it's a place to just hang out and chat with people, and I nodded along and forgot about it. Then last week I was bored on a Tuesday night, downloaded the app, and spent about 2 hours poking around the different rooms and threads. I like that it's laid back and people are actually talking instead of just posting links, but I'm still figuring out the layout and where the good conversations happen. I've posted a few times and got a couple replies, which felt nice, but I'm worried I'm jumping into old threads that already moved on. Does anyone have tips for which rooms are friendliest for a new person, or how to tell when a chat is still active? I don't want to be the guy who shows up 3 months late to a conversation and says something dumb. Any advice would help.
