My 8 year old Keurig finally gave up yesterday and I fixed it with a paperclip

The water pump started making this horrible grinding noise so I pulled the whole thing apart, found a chunk of limescale blocking the intake valve, and got it running again by scraping it out with a paperclip - has anyone else had luck keeping these machines alive past the 3 year mark?

Three years is the warranty, not the expiration date.

Yeah I read somewhere that some people still use their fridges for like 15-20 years no problem. Its wild how long stuff can last if you just take care of it lol.

Did you try getting a repair person out or just calling the company first?
