My coffee shop's chatter level dropped 60% after I swapped the loud espresso machine for a quieter model

Installed a new La Marzocco Linea Mini two weeks ago and suddenly people are actually having real conversations instead of shouting orders, has anyone else noticed how much background noise affects the whole vibe of a lounge?

Actually it's a La Marzocco GS3 not a Mini that most cafes use.
