My uncle told me to always keep the chat window open during a big event
Back when we ran the local book club chatter lounge, he said keeping the main chat visible on a second screen would stop people from getting lost. I ignored him for our first online meetup and half the group missed the author Q&A because they were in the wrong thread. Now I run two screens for every virtual meet, one for the main feed and one for the side chats. Anyone else have a simple trick that saved a live chat event?

Used to think extra screens were just for gamers and coders. Totally changed my mind after trying to run a charity stream with one monitor. Kept losing track of donations in the main chat because alerts and viewer questions were flooding a separate panel. Felt like I was ignoring people who paid money. Now I always have the important feed up on a second screen, no more missing key messages.

Second screen is a total game changer for real.

Yeah, I thought it was just extra clutter...
