Rant: People who call every color of paint 'greige' are driving me crazy

I work at a paint counter and last week a lady brought in a beige sample and called it greige. Then another customer brought in a warm taupe and also called it greige. They are not the same color at all. Greige is a specific mix of gray and beige, not just any neutral that looks a little brown. How do you tell a customer they're wrong without sounding like a total snob?

And actually @william_torres, that reminds me of when my neighbor tried to explain what color "greige" was by pointing at her new throw pillows. She spent ten minutes going back and forth between gray and beige before just calling it "dirty concrete." Still not sure if she was right but she seemed confident enough.
