The guy at the car wash was right about my tires
He said I was running 5 psi too low on the rears and I ignored him for weeks. Just checked them after a rough drive to Denton and yeah, they were at 30 instead of 35. Anyone else had a random stranger give solid car advice?

Did you notice any difference in how the car handled when they were low? I had a gas station guy tell me my wipers were shot once, figured he was just trying to upsell me, but nope, they were leaving streaks like crazy. Sometimes those random dudes know their stuff.

Exactly the kind of thing I'm talking about... seems like every so often you run into somebody who just happens to spot something you missed completely. I've noticed this pattern where the most random people will point out the obvious thing right in front of you, but you were too busy looking for something else to see it. Like when you're staring at your phone trying to find your keys and they're literally sitting next to your coffee cup the whole time... It's like your brain filters out the simple stuff when you're focused on the complicated parts. Those gas station guys, the old timer in the hardware store, the lady at the checkout counter, they all notice stuff we walk right past every day. Kinda makes you wonder what else we're all missing on a regular basis.

Yeah "streaks like crazy" is real, had a guy at a tire shop tell me my alignment was off cause my steering wheel was slightly crooked and he was dead right.
