Threw $60 down the drain on a premium bird feeder that squirrels dismantled in 3 days
I bought this supposedly squirrel-proof feeder from a local shop in Eugene and within 72 hours those little acrobats had cracked the plastic latch and spilled $15 worth of sunflower seeds everywhere, so has anyone actually found a feeder that holds up to these little thieves?

I think the squirrels are running some kind of underground engineering program in Eugene because mine have figured out how to open the "locking" mechanism too. At this point I just accept that I'm paying a $60 subscription fee to watch them leap onto a swaying pole.
