Tried the cheap angle finder from Harbor Freight. Actually works fine.
I bought their $20 magnetic angle finder for a roof job last Tuesday. Figured it would break by lunch but it held up through three pitches. Anyone else had luck with their cheap tools?

Read a roofing forum where a guy said he's been using the same cheap HF angle finder for four years straight and it still works. Guess sometimes the cheap stuff surprises you.

Ngl @chen.adam, I had a buddy who bought a cheap miter gauge off Amazon and it's been dead-on for like five years now.
