Update: I was wrong about cheap cigar cutters for a year
After watching a $8 plastic cutter mangle my last double corona, I grabbed a $20 guillotine from my local B&M in Dayton and the burn is so even now I feel dumb for ignoring every forum warning.

Why do we always have to learn the expensive way that cheap tools cost more in the long run? I did the same thing with a $10 knife sharpener that ruined two good blades before I finally bought the real one. It's like our brains need to fail first before we trust what everyone's already telling us.
