Vent: I spent $200 on a premium chatter lounge membership that was useless

The site promised exclusive networking, but the 'lounge' was just a dead forum with the same five people posting. I feel like I paid for a ghost town. Has anyone else found a chatter community that's actually active and worth the money?

Two hundred dollars for a dead forum... that's actually painful. The promise of exclusive networking is such a common trap. I tried a paid writing group last year that was the same story, just crickets. It makes you really suspicious of any membership fee now.

Sometimes you get what you pay for, and free groups are often even more dead.

Ever feel like you're paying for the PRIVILEGE of hearing crickets? I joined a "premium" photography club that was basically a ghost town with a yearly fee. Makes you wonder if the money just buys a fancier empty room.
