Why does nobody talk about how quiet the chatter lounge gets after 11 PM?
I was talking to a regular named Mark last Thursday, and he said he logs off then because 'the real talk happens in the morning, the late stuff is just noise.' It made me realize I've been staying up for hours of scrolling through basically nothing. Does anyone else have a specific time they feel the quality of conversation shifts?

You know what, Mark is totally onto something, right? I swear the whole vibe changes after midnight, like the good posters go to bed and the rest of us are just zombies refreshing the page. @joelt70 might have a point about the weirdos, but is that really a good kind of interesting? My own rule is I close the app by 1 AM because I realized I was just reading the same three tired arguments over and over. It's not even fun noise, it's just people too tired to make sense.

Ever think the late-night weirdos are more interesting?

Oh, I gotta respectfully disagree there! The late-night crowd is mostly people half-asleep just yelling into the void (I've been guilty of it myself, honestly). Give me the daytime posters who actually think about what they're typing, even if it's less chaotic.
