Hot take: dried beans are way better than canned after I tried them wrong for years

I started buying canned beans because they were quick, but even on sale they'd run me about 1.50 a can. Last month I grabbed a 2 pound bag of dried black beans for 3 bucks at my local Aldi in Cleveland. I soaked them overnight, boiled them for about an hour, and ended up with enough beans for six meals. Has anyone else made the switch and found it saves more than they expected?

Man that's exactly how I felt at first too. Dried beans are a game changer once you get the hang of soaking and timing them right.
