I wasted 12 bucks on that ramen hack everyone raves about
Saw a post about adding an egg and sriracha to instant ramen to make it gourmet. Tried it three times and each bowl tasted like spicy scrambled eggs floating in salty water. Anyone else find this overrated or did I just mess it up bad?

My buddy Dave tried that exact hack last month and he burned his tongue so bad he couldn't taste anything for two days. I think the trick is you gotta whisk the egg separately first and pour it in super slow while stirring, otherwise you just get egg drop soup with a kick. Honestly though, I'd rather put shredded cheese and hot sauce on my ramen instead of messing with eggs that never cook right.

Wait, does your buddy Dave still eat ramen after that or is he scarred for life? I'm curious if he went back to trying different methods or just gave up on eggs entirely. Idk why but I've seen so many people swear by cracking the egg straight into the boiling water and I feel like it's a trap every time. Maybe it's just me but I wonder if the type of ramen matters too like if you're using the cheap 25 cent packs vs the fancier ones from the Asian market.

My buddy swears by whisking the egg first ever since he ended up with a solid hardboiled egg stuck in his noodles.
