My 3-dollar lentil soup turned into a 9-dollar disaster, here's what I learned
Last Tuesday I tried that red lentil and coconut milk recipe from the pinned post, but my blender lid popped off mid-puree and splattered hot soup all over my apartment walls in Austin. After scrubbing for an hour, I realized the 3-dollar meal cost me a full bottle of degreaser and a ruined t-shirt. Anyone else ever had a cheap recipe go sideways in a way that ended up costing more than just eating out?
