My aunt told me to freeze leftover tomato paste in ice cube trays
She always said it was the best way to save money on pasta sauce ingredients. I tried it last month with a can that cost me 89 cents. Now I just pop one cube out whenever I need a little depth in a soup or stew. It works way better than buying those little tubes for 2 or 3 bucks each. Do you guys freeze any other common ingredients this way?

Wait, 89 cents for a whole can of paste? Where do you shop, 1999? I need to start freezing my own stuff yesterday.

Start paying attention to how little things like canned paste connect to bigger patterns of inflation @carr.elliot.

Is it really that deep though? A can of paste going up a few cents doesn't tell us much.
