Rant: the guy at the deli counter in Cleveland said to buy the chicken leg quarters instead of breasts
Last week I was at a Save A Lot in Cleveland and the guy working the meat counter said the leg quarters were 69 cents a pound while the breasts were $2.99. I grabbed a 10 pound bag for $6.90 and made 6 meals out of it with rice and frozen veggies, which works out to like $1.15 a plate. What's everyone's go to cheap cut of meat and how do you cook it so it doesn't get boring?
