Stop buying dried beans in bags, the bulk bin is half the price

I used to grab the 1 pound bags at the grocery store until I actually weighed out the same amount from the bulk section at Winco last month. It came to like $1.10 vs $2.30 for the exact same pinto beans. I make a big pot of beans and rice every Sunday for the week, so that difference adds up to about $50 a year for me. Anyone else have a grocery hack like this where the obvious option is secretly the expensive one?
