That 3 bean bag trick for tuna salad left me sick for 2 days
My roommate swore canned black beans were a cheap protein swap in tuna salad, and after eating 2 cans worth across 3 meals last week, I learned the hard way that pre-rinsed canned beans still need a full boil or you get gut cramps that no $1.50 rice bowl can fix, so has anyone else trusted a budget hack that turned out to be a digestion trap?
How were the beans stored after the cans got opened? A couple days in the fridge can do a number on you no matter how well you rinse them. Feels less like a bean problem and more like a leftover problem.
