Had a talk with an old line cook friend that stuck with me
He said our fancy new plating spoons and tweezers are just making us slower, and he can plate 60 covers in half the time with just his fingers. It hit different because he ran a 300-cover French place back in '98 and never missed a ticket.

Honestly, tweezers are just training wheels for cooks who never learned to feel doneness with their actual hands.
